  1. What is Home Rate Roaming?
    Home Rate roaming allows Cable & Wireless Caribbean customers to roam in any of the 14 Cable & Wireless mobile Caribbean territories at the same rates as it costs to use your mobile service phone at home in the following scenarios: National Calls, Calls to Home, Calls to other Cable & Wireless Caribbean countries, and incoming calls.

  2. How does Home Rate Roaming work?
    Home Rate Roaming works in the same manner as intra-Caribbean roaming currently works today. With Home Rate roaming only the roaming rates you pay are being changed.

  3. Where does Home Rate Roaming apply?
    Home Rate Roaming applies ONLY when roaming in C&W Caribbean markets and only for Cable & Wireless customers of these markets.  The locations where this applies are: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands (BVI), Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago and Turks & Caicos.

  4. Will Home Rate Roaming apply in Trinidad & Tobago?
    Yes, Intra-Caribbean home rate roaming will apply in Trinidad and Tobago on the TSTT mobile network for Cable & Wireless mobile customers.

  5. Will Home Rate Roaming apply for roaming to other international markets?
    No, Home Rate Roaming will only apply when roaming within Cable & Wireless Caribbean markets which are: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Islands (BVI), Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago and Turks & Caicos. This service will not be offered in other international markets at this time.

  6. How do I get Home Rate Roaming?
    No additional registration is required since international roaming is automatic for all bmobile customers. You will therefore have immediate access to Home Rate Roaming and will begin seeing the benefits immediately.

  7. Is there a special set up cost or monthly fee for Home Rate Roaming?
    No, there is no special set up cost or monthly fee associated with Home Rate Roaming.

  8. Do I get Home Rate Roaming with my bucket of free minutes?
    No, Home Rate Roaming is not included as part of your monthly buckets of free minutes. Roaming charges are not included in any of the bmobile postpaid or prepaid plans.

  9. Is Home Rate Roaming for both Postpaid and Prepaid customers?
    Yes, Home Rate Roaming will apply for both mobile postpaid and prepaid customers.

  10. Will I be billed per second or per minute for Home Rate Roaming?
    As is customary with roaming charges you will be billed per minute for Home Rate Roaming.

  11. How will my Home Rate Roaming calls appear on my bill?
    Your intra-Caribbean roaming charges will appear on your monthly bill as they do today, however you will now realise that your intra-Caribbean roaming charges appear as local home rates.

  12. Will retrieval of my voicemail messages be free under Home Rate Roaming?
    Yes, retrieval of your voicemail messages will be free for Home Rate Roaming.

  13. Will Home Rate Roaming apply for my SMS, Data and BlackBerry® services?
    Yes, Home Rate Roaming will apply to SMS and Data services including BlackBerry services.

  14. Will incoming calls from fixed lines be free under Home Rate Roaming?
    No.  Receiving free incoming fixed line calls under Home Rate Roaming is only applicable for those markets where incoming calls from fixed lines are free at home.  However, in Barbados and Antigua where you pay for receiving calls from fixed lines you will continue to pay for these types of incoming calls under Home Rate Roaming.

  15. Will incoming calls from bmobile phones and international numbers be free under Home Rate Roaming?
    Yes.  Incoming calls from local and regional bmobile phones, as well as incoming calls from international destinations are all free under Home Rate Roaming.
